Jul 30, 2018 In order to obtain a coin, you must go to McDonald’s and buy a Big Mac first. So technically the deal is a buy-one-get-one Big Mac, with a little twist. After purchasing that initial Big Mac, you will be handed a MacCoin. This birthday deal will officially roll out starting at lunchtime on August 2, but there’s a huge catch.
The nib Newcastle Knights will host the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 16 of the NRL on Saturday evening.
Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation in New South Wales, things will look a little different this week.
Here's everything you need to know about Game-Day at McDonald Jones Stadium.
- The Knights have McDonald's as a minor sponsor as well. Knights members get a free Big Mac after every win. I reckon Milf will try to keep ahead of the Monday Stampede so he can be first in line.
- Get a free donut at King Soopers the day after the Broncos win. Only one free donut per household. Get a Big Mac or a sausage McMuffin with egg for $1 the day after the Broncos.

Fan Zone
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Knights Fan Zone (normally located in the carpark) will not be in operation this week.
We are hopeful the Fan Zone will return for our next home game, set to be against Canberra in Round 20.

To protect the people of NSW from the evolving COVID-19 situation the NSW Government has imposed a 50 per cent seated capacity restriction to all outdoor seated, ticketed events.
Big Mac Price
Persons who reside or work in a hotspot area or who have been in the Greater Sydney area (including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong) will not be permitted entry as per NSW Health advice. View NSW Health Hotspot list.
Attendees will be required to practice good hygiene, social distancing and wear a face mask at all times while inside the venue.
Under the current public health order, face masks are mandatory in major recreation facilities including stadiums. It is the responsibility of each individual to provide their own fitted face mask. It looks like McDonald’s is doing Egg McMuffins or Big Macs for $1.00 the day after the Broncos win (see the info on the Denver Broncos site). And, some locations are doing a special deal on Mondays throughout the football season, though unrelated to the Broncos score. Here’s what Alison sent me on that:
I was at McDonald’s (GOG & I-25) this morning and saw that they will be offering Big Macs for $1 on Mondays through some time in December (basically through the football season). I was told there was no limit on how many you could buy and you didn’t have to purchase anything else.

I’ll keep you posted as to when $1 Egg McMuffins and $1 Big Macs deal (and other Broncos deals at Arby’s, Papa John’s, and Red Robin) are valid as the Broncos play.
