Gluten free list of foods

Navigating the conflicting world of gluten free makeup can be a real challenge. With no regulations setting the standard for gluten free makeup, no two companies mean the same thing when they claim their products are “gluten free”. Do they really mean “gluten free”? Or do they mean “oh, it’s only a tiny bit of gluten that can’t hurt you”. If you have reactions to topical gluten, or are a Celiac looking to minimize your exposure to gluten, this can be a very dangerous issue. Who can you trust to tell the truth?

Gluten Free Cosmetics Brands

MAC is a prestige brand of makeup sold in some department stores, their own stores, and online. MAC does not make gluten free makeup, per se, but they do pay enough attention to their products to be able to say which of their products has glutinous ingredients and which don’t. They do acknowledge that even products that don’t. Jan 14, 2014 Joelle cosmetics (mymineralglitters.com) is GF and corn-free. The owner can’t have gluten or corn. Reasonably priced, too. She offers a full line, though she does lip gloss instead of lipstick, but it’s nice stuff. The only gluten- and corn-free shampoo and conditioner I’ve been able to find is made by Everyday Shea. The first category could conclusively vouch that each and every lip product in their lines were 100% gluten free. Such companies include: Gabriel Cosmetics ( found at most Whole Foods) Mineral Fusion ( Whole Foods) Nars ( Sephora) Zuzu Luxe (found at a local chain called Pharmaca).
