Hi,2 days ago i installed El Capitan. When i entered in boot camp partition,my keyboard didn't work. I tried uninstalling windows and re-installing it again, but now whole partition has problems..it don't load well, and i have to force quit my mac by pressing power button..
Windows 7 was installed on it besides my El Capitan OS X a month ago, and BootCamp was deleted by my son. I'm not a Bootcamp fan. Personally, I would max out your RAM (8GB for 2010 and 16GB for 2011) install an SSD and run VirtualBox and install Win10 there. If you haven't put in an SSD, I would do that too. Question: Q: Bootcamp windows 7 el capitan. Hi there, I was trying to install windows 7 on my 15' late 2011 MBpro. I am using a usb stick with an.ISO file. Www.bootcamponosx.com Windows 7/Windows 8.1 Drivers: Bootcamp 5.1.57 https://support.apple.com. Aug 12, 2015. When running Windows, locate the Boot Camp folder on the USB media you created in Step 3 and double click to open it. Double click on setup to start installing the Boot Camp Support Software. When prompted to allow changes, click on Yes and follow the onscreen instructions. Installation can take a few minutes.
When partition worked(only 1 time) i connected an usb logitech keyboard and it worked..then added manually by bluetooth settings my bluetooth keyboard(apple) and it went, but at the restarting of mac, keyboard didn't work and windows didn't load. It get a black screen after log in with my microsoft account.
Someone knows what's the problem? Maybe i have to download again ISO file of windows 8?
The solution is to edit the Info.plist - which is locked down by the OS and not overridable with sudo (on El Capitan) Rebooted into Recovery mode - opened terminal, disabled the obnoxious sudo block via: csrutil disable. Edited the Info.plist. Restarted Bootcamp Assistant. Option now available, waited 45 min for it to create the media.
